Jonathan Vega, known as JV, is a photographer from the Hermosa neighborhood in Chicago, IL. He holds a BFA from Denison University and an MFA in Photography from The Ohio State University, providing him with an artistic and academic foundation that enhances his photography.

Before going freelance, he worked as the Gallery Coordinator for Denison Art Space In Newark. JV has also taught photography at several colleges, including The Ohio State University, Elgin Community College, and Saint Mary's College, which has improved his skills and strengthened his ties to the art community. Since 2019, JV has been balancing his love for photography with jobs in the service industry.

He currently works at Chicago’s 4LW and continues to pursue his passion for photography and art in both commercial and artistic settings.
